I'd like to share my numerous experiences with the prostitutes here in Antwerp, Belgium. I really appreciate the guide you people are creating and look forward to trying some of your suggestions during future travels. There are really four differentes areas where prostitution rules. 3 of them are for people looking for girls (or ex-men), the last one is for the gay crowd (not discussed here). 1. Schipperskwartier This area is the most popular one, among tourists and sailers alike. It's the most lively area in town and I estimate there are over 100 different red-light houses in just a few blocks. There a lot of white girls here (mostly from Holland and the formar East European countries) and a lot of black girls (Ghana, Zaire, ...). You should make your choice between 9 PM and 3 AM, because after that time, even more blackies take the place of the whities. Prices range from 500BEF (black girl) up to 1500BEF (white girl - 10 minutes). One hour of pleasure will cost you 5000BEF. But because there are so many girls, you should really get several prices before going in. Of course, younger girls cost more. Where is it ? Well, you should start at the Steen museum on the Kaaien and make your way north. You should then turn right at the first traffic light. When you reach the first intersection, you will be right in the middle of the Schipperskwartier. You've made it, sailer. You can drive (crawl) by the hookers, watch out for the one-way streets though. Just follow the others. There's also a very good disco (Cafe d'Anvers), in case you don't find your taste. 2. Winkelhaakstraat This area, with usually fifty hookers waiting, is smaller than the previous one. It is almost completely populated by black girls. This is really a buyer's market. Prices can drop as low as 300BEF for a full fuck. You should shop around before spending those hard-earned franks or bucks or deutschmarks or whatever. Most of them look like real dogs, but there are always a few very attractive and very young girls waiting to count your money. Sometimes, you might want to stand in line for a great fuck. You won't see a real queue, just a couple of men anxiously waiting for a customer to leave the girl and hurry in to be 'handled' next. You will be in no danger here, as black pimps keep a close eye on who is walking about the area. You might want to reconsider coming here, if you are either drunk or wearing a suit. Remember : don't drive through these streets, because they will charge you by the cost of your car. Mercedes drivers will be charged MORE. 3. Osystraat This area is populated by street hookers only, who will come up to your car to have a chat. You need only come here if you have a car, because doing the whole circuit will certainly wear you down, if you're by foot. The hookers are very much dispersed over 10 streets (4 blocks). It's located near the Franklin Rooseveltplaats (where all the bus stops are). You can easily drive the caroussel; just follow one of the hundreds of cars driving round here in the evening. Prices will be somewhat higher : starting at 1.000BEF for a blow job, maybe even a fuck if it's a real dog. Normal fucking will cost you at least 1.500BEF. Most girls will ask you to pay a hotelroom for 1 hour, which is about 500BEF extra. Parking is easy and safe, because this area is regularly patroled by the Police. A major disadvantage here is that the girls are completely dressed, so that you can see them in their underwear, which you can in both areas mentioned above. So, be very careful with what you choose. I always ask the girl to show her breasts or lift her dress, when she comes up to my car for a chat. Some girls will allow you to dispense with the cost of the room and fuck you in the car. They will mostly direct you to a dark street in the neighborhood. While this is very exciting, you may want to consider the fact that this is very much illegal, and you really don't want to be caught by the Police or the Gendarmerie. Black women from Africa are plentiful for 500BF for fuck or suck. The correct street is Lange Winkelhaakstraat, located around the main train station, near the previously mentioned street action. Generally both locations are a bargain if you like black girls, which I personally do. (Top tip they might ask for 1000BEF if they think you are a tourist, the going rate is 500BEF, just be firm or move on). The quality and choice of white girls was far more limited and the price is double. Cheap hotel, immediately adjacent to the main district is: The International Zeemanshuis at Falconrui 21.
